Yep, it’s here!
Tomorrow morning at 10A we’re hosting a party for people. We’ve got free Gibson’s donuts, free sausage biscuits from McDonald’s, free coffee and hot chocolate, inflatables, face painting, a black light room, live music and more. We’re giving away some BELIEVING CHURCH gear, gift cards for wings and pizza, and the big one… a 60” tv! Yep, it should be quite the party.
So, the real question is this… why? Why throw a party and leverage energy, resources, attention, etc. 8 days before the church even starts? Well, for us it’s pretty simple. We want to show people the love of Jesus, not just explain it to them.
There could be a 100 people that come. There could be 1,000. There could be more or less than either of those. We have no idea. But what we do know is two things… First, every person that comes, whether they typically go to church or not, is gonna know there’s a church in the city that loves them and believes in having fun. Maybe they all don’t come back to the launch, and that’s ok. But when life get’s hard, their kids start acting crazy, issues come up at home or whatever, we believe they’ll remember there’s a church that believes in them… and more importantly, there’s a God that believes in them. Second, every person that comes we get the privilege and honor of personally inviting back to our launch day. They’re not strangers, we spent the morning together. We ate a meal together… sort of. The location isn’t confusing; they’ve been. They know where the restrooms are. Their kids aren’t scared of this place. They actually like it and hope the inflatables are still up. It’s that simple. This is why we’re doing it.
So, FAMILYPALOOZA is tomorrow, and we’d love for you to come.
If you’re reading this and you’re planning on attending… boom, you know why we’re doing it. We’re excited you’re coming. I hope I get to meet you and say hi!
If you’re reading this and you’re curious as to why we'd do this… boom, there ya go.
If you’re reading this and you’re a part of BELIEVING helping to make it happen… you already know this. We love you. We thank God for you. Tomorrow is gonna be great, and on that note, let’s eat a donut.
